Did you honestly think we would go all subtle on you? of course not. Back to the Eastern Europe area with three tracks from our longtime favorite: Energun! This duo has ben taking the world by storm in the past years with their hard-as-nails blend of Techno, built on old Sovjet synths and a heavy dose of merciless beats.
We really are super proud that they wanted to do a release on our little label. Let's go!
The title song, Changing Keys, immediately grabs you by the gentlemen's congas. Brutal, raw and deadly efficient for a dance floor worthy of it. If you happen to hear this on -say- Awakenings or Tresor, I guarantee some serious pogo action.
Relatively calmer is "Field Of The Atom", which builds up nicely with synth stabs fighting for your mind. Hypnotic and a break that simply is dry, straight forward and yet with plenty of subtle details to make it special.
final track "Electrolysis" is my personal favo, it is a bit in the same ball park as the release by Positive Merge of a few months ago: no nonsense looping Techno that does what the music was designed for way back: hypnotize.
Everything was once again mastered by our usual engineer Dimitri Andreas. Hope you like it!
